The drizzles of rain didn’t stop Durban’s Hip Hop fans and house fans from coming out in their numbers to dance to line up of South Africans top performers who gave a show a reason to be remembered. Spotted looking fabulous was some cast members from uzalo, the ever so handsome pappie Mr Robbie Malinga with a gorgeous lady on his arms.  Professor, looked handsome with his military outfit even if got caught up with admiring fans, almost forgetting mwa waiting to have his picture taken. Professor, please respect the media baba. That’s all I’ll say.

Bucie gave us a stella repertoire as she took us back with her hit song ‘Celi Indoda’, ngibone o Tha Smelane bevevezela namaqola eziphonsa ko buti kwachwaza I stadium.

Girls, including Tha we see you! The night was very memorable, especially Cici’s performance which she remixed with Beyonce’s drunk inlove- and Phuzekhemisi’s ‘imbizo’. Cici you got a voice and moves for days my love, but nciphisa ukuzithusela. Especially when mwa requested to take a picture with you and Tha Simelane. That stunt you pulled will leave you vulnerable to media vultures who will always be looking to find something wrong that you do, to discredit you. Humble yourself before the lens of the camera and you shall be lifted, ask the great Bucie who immediately got offstage and recalled me asking for her pics, that gave me, and uniqmagazinesa exclusive magic moments. She has been in the industry longer than you. Having said that, your performance reminded us of the legendary Lebo Mathosa. Great moves, voice, and presence.

Mshwati, inhlitiyo yami ishaya tikidikidi for you. You melted mwa’s make up on that stage, I saw Babazi wami engibuka as if uzoguqa angifake iring same time. Uzalo crew, Ngiyabonga ngoba niyayazi indawo yenu, and respect isakhona. Baba Duma, uyasebenza.

T’zozo love your set, you had everyone begobisiqolo including mwa. (My crush bakithi) – and Mbuso, you took me from Kwamashu and led me to Nigeria with those deep house vocals. Zakwe, uyibhoza, baba. Mwa got you to strike a pose. Thathake!

Ink Hop organisers thank you for giving uniqmagazinesa exclusive access so we can bring whats uniq to the fore. A lot of people need ubumnandi to balance their lives, and what you did, was just that.

Those who couldn’t make it,I will drop snipetts of the show on our social media platforms so next time, you make sure not to be left out.

If its uniq – we will be there!
